About Intimately Connected Therapy

Our Philosophy

At Intimately Connected Therapy we believe that life isn't about getting to the right place; it's about being headed in the right direction.  No one is perfect.  Everyone makes mistakes and has challenges.  Facing those and overcoming consequences is hard. No one should have to make that journey alone!  We celebrate and honor those with the courage to start.

About Us

Aaron and Anna entered the recovery and therapy field in 2017.  Aaron as a counselor and Anna as a social worker.  Both have a strong desire to support those they work with to feel hopeful, resourced, and encouraged.   Aaron is presently licensed in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) as well as a Sex Offender Treatment Provider (SOTP) to treat registrants, parolees, or those in pretrial circumstances.  Aaron was also previously an International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) - CSAT and CMAT (certified sex addition therapist (2020-2026) & certified multiple addiction therapist  (2020-2022).  Anna is currently practicing on a limited basis at Yesheck and Associates in Cary, IL, as a licensed social worker but will join Intimately Connected in the future to support female clients and couples.

Session, Insurance, Cost Information

Intimately Connected Therapy is happy to utilize an industry leading software called Simple Practice.  Its HIPAA compliant portal allows for secure video or phone sessions and ensures client information is protected.  Its portal also allows clients access to a secure messaging portal, gives them the ability to schedule their own appointments, make payments for services, and helps remind them of scheduled appointments.  If you utilize the contact or request appointment buttons below, you'll be directed to that system.

Intimately Connected Therapy does not current accept or bill directly to insurance.  Clients with all insurance are welcome and we are happy to provide a monthly superbill which can be submitted to insurance by the client for possible reimbursement (we can talk you through that process).  Payment for sessions is due at the time of service and we require a card on file for all our clients.

Our per session rate for a 1 hour individual or couple session is $150.

Group sessions costs are $60 a session.

We're here and ready to help...

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
